Welcome to Casa La Rosa. We’re excited to have you stay!

This place is very special to us. This is our first vacation rental and we’ve put a lot of love into making it worthy of our guests. It’s a great spot from which to discover the city of Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale and beyond.

In this guidebook, you’ll find lots of useful information that we’ve compiled to help our guests make the most of their stay--from instructions on where to find extra supplies to recommendations for nearby restaurants and shopping areas, we’ve got it all covered.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is until 11:00 am.

We would really appreciate it if you could stick to these times.

If you’d like to request a late check-out, please contact us through your booking app or any of the contact details provided in this guidebook. However, please be advised that we may not be able to grant your request if we have a same-day check-in.

HOUSE RULES

We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.

1. No parties or events allowed.

2. No smoking allowed.

3. We do not allow pets due to our son's severe asthma and pet fur allergies.

4. No unregistered guests allowed.

5. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.

6. Please respect the neighbors and watch your noise levels at night.

7. Please take care of the furnishings.

8. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.

9. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

10. Please clear out the refrigerator and freezer.

11. Please load and start the dishwasher prior to your departure.

12. Please respect check-in and check-out times.

PARKING

You may park your car on the driveway or take any free spot on the street. There is plenty of parking available.

EXTRA TOWELS & SUPPLIES

The unlocked closet in the hallway closest to the living area has been stocked with extra bath towels, bathroom floor mats, paper towels and toilet paper. You can also find sealed warm blankets in each closet. Extra trash bags, sponges and dishwashing tablets can found underneath the kitchen sink.

SWIMMING POOL

Open the pool gate by lift up on the door’s locking mechanism at the very top. The pool light switch is located on the wooden fence in front of the pool filter. (Note: the pool is not heated. Please don’t adjust the pool settings)

Please be safe around the pool to prevent accidents. If you have children travelling with you, always keep an eye on them.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCES

Television: The remote to the TV should be on the living room coffee table. You have access to local channels, and a variety of free streaming movies and shows via the Roku menu. Please place the remote back on the living room coffee table before you leave.

Air conditioning: You can adjust the temperature using the thermostat in the hallway. However, please try to keep it between 70 and 78 degrees, and don’t leave the A/C running when you leave the house.

Fans: Each fan has a remote control mounted on wall next to its corresponding light switch. You can turn the fan on and off by pressing the fan icon once quickly and adjust the fan speed using the up and down arrows. You can also turn the fan light on and off by quick pressing the light icon. Please keep the fan remotes on their wall mount.

Coffee machine: The Keurig coffee machine is easy to use. Simply fill the water container, if low. Lift the Keurig lid. Insert the coffee pod of your choice (we’ve provided a few choices in the pullout tray underneath the coffee maker). Close the lid, place your coffee mug on the drink plate, select your cup size, and hit the brew button.

Dishwasher: The dishwasher mode is set to normal. You’ll find the dishwasher detergent tablets underneath the kitchen sink. You do not have to open the plastic tablet. Simply insert it, as is, into the detergent compartment, close the compartment, and press “Start” on the panel.

Washer and dryer: The washer and dryer are behind the door opposite the kitchen. Detergent and drying sheets are in the cabinet to the right of the washer.
